Autumn/Fall tour 2013

On the road again…

We’ve been on the road for nearly a week so we thought it was about time that we shared what’s been happening in our wee rolling world.

Last night we played at The Crooked Door in Marion, NC and we have been floored by the hospitality and love shown us. We’re feeling it especially so after breaking down on a corner of I-40E 20 mins from our destination (our shredded blown tire was spectacular). The two front tires have since been replaced by the fabulous men down the road who made sure to invite us back to say hi and sing a few tunes.

We got to play our set in a sweet historic building that has the most amazing details in the most surprising of places. The crowd was the kind that make this whole living-in-a-vehicle-for-a-month worthwhile. Having the chance to speak to new supporters, customers, friends gives just as much of a buzz as playing live does.

North Carolina has always been dear in our hearts. There’s something about these here rolling green mountains that keeps calling us back and we’ll hearken to that so long as there’s a song left in us.
